Tyler Winklevoss: Bitcoin is Better at Being Gold Than Gold Itself

According to the co-founder of Gemini Tyler Winklevoss, Bitcoin surpasses gold:

“In the quality of being [digital] gold, Bitcoin surpasses gold … and by an order of magnitude it is as much as 10 times better,” – he wrote in a tweet from 21 September.

Considering the fact that over the past decade, Bitcoin has quickly grown in value, for many members of the crypto space, it will act as a means of saving, not just as a currency for making payments.

For this reason, the digital coin is often compared with gold, a reliable mean of saving value used for thousands of years.

“I do not understand why it is believed that there is competition between gold and Bitcoin,” – the top-manager of the anonymous script NebraskanGooner replied. – I consider both a means of saving.”

To his tweet on the social network, Winklevoss has assigned a graph on which both assets compare with each other. Of the seven categories, gold exceeded BTC in only one – the total amount of money invested in the asset. The market capitalization of gold is $9 trillion, while BTC accounts for $200 billion. In the rest of the Bitcoin scores a victory for deficiency, durability, adaptation to gears, delimitation, storage, and maintenance complexity.

It is not by chance, that not so long ago, Bitcoin gained notoriety as a means of saving in the eyes of the public, since a few giant companies have invested in the cryptocurrency considerable amounts.
