Representatives of the PlayDapp platform announced on Twitter that their universal gaming PLA token is now usable from Samsung’s blockchain wallet and thus it can be utilized for different applications in its ecosystem.
The token in mind is a digital asset that is used by the PlayDapp blockchain gaming ecosystem to trade in-game products and elements from various games and on the worldwide C2C marketplace that is playdapp.com.
“After this successful integration with Samsung, people will not only be free to play the many titles of PlayDapp games that are found in the Galaxy Store, but they will also be capable to trade and use the PLA token directly from their Galaxy based smartphone wallet,” the company stated in a press release.
After the announcement was made, Upbit has added PLA to its platform, so users will now also be able to acquire and trade the relevant tokens there as well. Recently Samsung has been making many crypto-related announcements, including the adding of the Stellar (XLM) cryptocurrency to its wallet.
