Number of Addresses Containing 100 BTC or More Hits a Six-Month High

As reported by the Glassnode analytical platform, the number of crypto wallets containing 100 or more BTC reached a six-month peak this week.

There are now about 16,159 wallets containing at least 100 BTC. Shortly after the halving in May, on June 8, there were 16,158 addresses controlling 100 or more Bitcoins.

The analysts also found that the number of non-zero wallets has also increased, updating the maximum (31.913 million addresses). There are thousands of new addresses appearing every single day. Within just one week of this month, the number of addresses on the Bitcoin network has grown to its highest level in two years. From 5,000 to 10,000 wallets were registered daily.

In early October, analyst Cole Garner announced that we have already entered the phase of the active accumulation of BTC.

Back in May, the Bitcoin network read 30 million addresses with non-zero balance. Over 99% of these wallets contain 10 or fewer Bitcoins.
