The idea was to find a scientific approach for finding a way to benefit as many people as possible. In the search, he came across Bitcoin. So he invested money in it to finally give it all away to the people. Currently, Bloomberg Billionaires Index says that he has a net worth of around $20 billion. He has also done in FTX around $40 billion worth of investment.
Bankman states that his core policy is still the same. The crypto billionaire is planning to keep only 1% of his total earnings or which can be around $100,000 around. Except for it, he will donate all his wealth. He can be considered the Robin Hood of the crypto business. He is making substantial political contributions and promoting his company’s plan within the walls of Washington. He has spent around $135 million in the Heat arena of Miami. He is trying to multifold what he has earned till now, even if it means putting it at stake for a while.
Choosing crypto for creating wealth for charity might seem a bit unrealistic and odd at the same time. Crypto has been considered the leeway of several scams, an issue of significant energy consumption, etc. However, the vision of Bankman is different from this. According to him, FTX is operating a fair market industry where they research the background of the customers. They also purchase carbon credits for reducing emissions. Also, it is more capable than the mainstream economic management system. But the main idea behind choosing crypto is to get rich fast. His company FTX is developing with a higher growth rate compared to Binance. It manages around $15 billion in trade volume on a good day.
