Any user with an address on Ethereum and wallet can now contribute to the Mirror as per the new protocol. After running months of only vote-based work, the Mirror has now accepted a wider public for the blogging platform.
The Mirror is a very selective platform that was launched in the last month of 2020. It allowed only selective writers to upload their right up on the decentralized platform. The contributors could only access by obtaining votes in weekly competitions. This led to the selection of only 10 content writers in a week.
As per the announcement made on 6th October, the Mirror said that now it had allowed anyone to submit their contributions. Writers with a wallet and address of Ethereum could make a contribution. The mirror has control over their content since they store it on blockchain in spite of servers.
The submitted content is secure cryptographically. It is not under the access of modification by any user that no longer exists on the platform.
The content creators on the blogging platform of the Mirror can embed videos and social media posts if they have an Ethereum wallet connected. It also gives the feasibility to import content from blogging platforms like Medium. The users on the Mirror can easily share and start funding on their work by using this platform and integrating the address of their Ethereum.
The earlier method of including the contribution of writers namely WRITE Race shall provide incentives to the creators like staking.
This latest project is an initiation to integrate the ENS with the latest features like feeds, subscriptions, and editing screens.
This methodology is different, not related to the DeFi Protocol. The Mirror Finance or DeFi Protocol used MIR tokens for minting the unnatural assets.
