Litecoin Launches Debit Card with Visa Support

BlockCard is releasing the first Litecoin Debit Card (LTC) with Visa support.

The founder of the blockchain project, Charlie Lee, remarked that this was their second attempt, since the last one ended with failure:

“We worked with LitePau to release the debit card, but nothing happened, since LitePau decided not to participate in the project.”

Charlie Lee talked about the difference between the Litecoin debit card and other crypto cards that support this currency:

“Today there are other crypto-debit cards that support Litecoin, but they only provide a refill in LTC with a conversion of fiat currency. This card is initially sharpened under LTC and will allow you to store the assets in cryptocurrency, which is converted into a fiat, only at the needed moment of payment.”

Supporters of Litecoin can already submit an application for receiving the card, but the service itself will not be available for a few more weeks. By using this card, users will be able to perform deposits in twenty of the most popular cryptocurrencies, including all major stablecoins.

Even considering the ongoing madness with the DeFi projects, Litecoin continues to stay in the top ten of the best coins by market capitalization and has one of the largest communities in the social networks.
