SkyBridge Capital originator Anthony Scaramucci persists to support Bitcoin investments. In a conversation with CNBC, he asserted that the first cryptocurrency represents a better investment asset than gold.
Anthony Scaramucci acknowledged that gold has remained the first choice of investors for 4,000 years. However, the circumstances have changed, and the recent large-scale investments in Bitcoin from big institutional investors prove this.
“If conduct a qualitative study, then you will find that Bitcoin is distinctly better than gold. It is way easier to store, and it can be relocated way faster and with ease,” emphasized the SkyBridge Capital founder.
Scaramucci stressed that the notion of money is to make it easy to obtain goods and services. And Bitcoin suits perfectly within this paradigm. At this stage, he argues, one needs to have at least a small wallet of Bitcoins.
This isn’t the first instance in which Scaramucci equates Bitcoin to gold – back in January he stated that Bitcoin is no less trustworthy asset than precious metals. There are some risks associated with investments in virtual assets, but if handled correctly, they can be very favourable assets.
In another interview last week Scaramucci noted that the Bitcoin growth over the years is following the same trajectory of Amazon stocks.
