The Number of Wallets Storing More Than 1 BTC Has Reached a New Record

According to data from the crypto research firm Glassnode, the number of BTC wallets storing more than 1 Bitcoin has reached a new all-time high point of 824,194.

The analysts point out that this number has been consistently growing ever since the creation of the first cryptocurrency. Not even the growth of BTC’s price by $3,500 in a single month did cause the holders to sell cryptocurrency – on the opposite, the overall number of investors in Bitcoin is steadily increasing.

Against the background of the ongoing presidential elections saga in the United States, the rate of the first cryptocurrency only continued to grow and reached another new height for 2020 at $15,315.

A very similar situation is observed in the development of the Ethereum network. The number of wallets storing more than 100 ETH reached 53,018. The previous high was reached in mid-July – 52,943 wallets.

Furthermore, Glassnode recently reported that the figure of addresses that store more than 100 BTC stands at 16,159, a peak in the last six months.
