The two companies announced their existing links. This includes their crypto-linked visa debit card in the U.S. Moreover, Wirex owns a significant part of the European membership status with Visa. As per the statement of Wirex, it was the first organization that boosted the crypto-enabled card in the industry. The card enabled people to purchase or sell different conventional and cryptocurrencies. The expansion will help Wirex in increasing its customer base. It currently has 5 million customers. The company is based in London, where it acquires its primary customer base. However, with this expansion, the company can offer crypto-enabled debit and prepaid cards to more than 40 countries.

This will help boost the company’s customer experience and enhance the available features for its users. Therefore, every user is waiting for the execution of this expansion. Moreover, all the industry leaders and members are baiting their eyes on these decisions as the industry is going through a significant decline. So this announcement in the middle of all the stress is a big moment.

The company owns its most extensive customer base in the U.K. But still, the company took back its operations from the region. They withdrew the temporary registration regime of the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority [FCA] before the deadline. This provided them with complete registration. This enabled them to offer their services to U.K. based customer base by incorporating a subsidiary licensed in Croatia.

Currently, Visa focuses on increasing the available options for customers to make payments. The Head of Digital Partnerships of Visa also mentioned this.
