Ricardo Salinas Pliego, who is ranked 166th in the world and 2nd in Mexico in the list of the richest people, has invested 10% of his so-called “liquid portfolio” in the first cryptocurrency.
The billionaire shared a video filmed in a “Latin American country” showing banks getting rid of bags of money. He stated that “paper money is worthless, so you always need to diversify your investment portfolio.”
Apparently, the video filmed the process of destruction of old bills in Venezuela, after the denomination. A little later, Pliego published on Twitter a recommendation to read The Bitcoin Pattern:
