Passport Services in the US Can Now be Payed in Bitcoin

The American company Peninsula Visa announced that it would start accepting Bitcoin for the provision of services for the issuance of a passport, changing the name, and so on, which will help to promote the use of Bitcoins in the passport-visa services in the USA.

The COO of Peninsula Visa Evan James commented on the event:

“Nobody and never before could pay the receipt of the US passport with crypto. We are extremely glad to be the first service provider in the country offering this way of paying to our esteemed clients. Since COVID has changed our world, which, in our opinion, is becoming more digital than ever before, we offer a traveler’s Bitcoin payment. We seem to be taking the right step at the right time. ”

According to the official statement, customers will be able to use the following services (they are planned to be expanded within the next 12 months): prolongation of the pass; changing the name; receiving, and prolonging the second passport.

This year, the interest in the leading cryptocurrency has grown to a level not marked since the bullish rally in 2017, when the price of BTC approached $20,000.

Earlier, the lawyers’ collegium from the Columbia region has provided its members with the opportunity to pay for legal aid with the help of cryptocurrencies.
