Gucci has stepped ahead to add cryptocurrency payments at some of its stores located in the US. They are going to take payments in 10 different cryptocurrencies.
The crypto payments will become functional by the end of this month in Gucci stores. The luxury brand is trying to bring digital currency payment to all the Gucci stores in North America by this summer.

Gucci made its announcement of accepting cryptocurrency this Wednesday. They will be accepting over 10 digital currencies, including Ethereum, Shiba Inu, Litecoin, Bitcoin, and other 5 stablescoins backed by the US dollar.
The brand will send an email link to its customers. Through the link, customers can make payments for their purchases. In addition, the link will feature a QR code to make payments through crypto wallets directly.
The payment method also includes an NFC reader. So the customer’s smartphone can directly read the code and link it to the digital currency app. After receiving the payment, the retailer can also convert it into fiat payment. The designated flagship stores for cryptocurrency payments are Wooster Street in New York, Phipps Plaza located in Atlanta, Rodeo Drive located in Los Angeles, Miami Design District, and The Shops at Crystals located in Las Vegas.
