Bitcoin Whales Transferred $90 Million Worth of Cryptocurrency to Unknown Wallets in a Few Hours

Bitcoin Whales made multiple transactions yesterday, moving 8,800 BTC for a total of $90 million.

This was reported by the analytical service WhaleAlert, having recorded five large transfers of Bitcoins. The first three transfers, totaling 5,800 BTC, were sent from Bitstamp, OKEX, and the Xapo Bitcoin wallet to unknown crypto wallets.

The remaining 3 thousand BTC were transferred from Bitstamp to Xapo also to anonymous addresses.

In recent days, the Bitcoin price has been aiming to stay above the $10,000 support level, with large Bitcoin holders seemingly transferring their BTC coins for long-term storage to the Xapo wallet.

At the time of writing, the average price at which Bitcoin is traded on exchanges is $10,305, and its daily volume reaches almost $35 billion, according to data from CMC.
