From the biggest crypto exchange in the US, Coinbase, $12.5 thousand Bitcoins worth around $694 million were withdrawn in just an hour, the IT Director of Moskovski Capital Lex Moskovski revealed on Twitter, quoting analytical data from Glassnode.
Spokespersons of the exchange have not yet noted anything regarding this massive transaction of cryptocurrency. Something similar occurred back in the middle of April following the largest fall of the main digital coin in the last months.
The mentioned above major transfer was recorded was on April 18. Then, 20.9 thousand Bitcoins worth $1.2 billion were extracted from the Binance crypto exchange only 10 minutes after the dip in the Bitcoin rate by 15% (from $60.8 thousand to $51.2 thousand).
As of the time of writing this article, the cost of the first-ever cryptocurrency is $58.118 thousand. Over the past week, the price of the asset has increased in value by around 8%.
