American giant Amazon is developing an innovative service that will allow its customers to conduct purchases in digital currency. This is acknowledged in а vacancy position announcement of the company.
The corporation is presently creating a technical team for a project to implement a new payment method – digital currency. The preliminary project is intended to be initiated in Mexico. It will enable clients to obtain cryptocurrency for cash and then utilize it to purchase goods or services.
Amazon Software Engineers must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent with more than three years of distributed software implementation management experience.
According to LinkedIn, the job positions were posted on February 4.
Prior to the job posting, Amazon revealed that the company’s founder and CEO Jeff Bezos intends to step down as CEO.
