One of the most luxurious estates on the UK market is on sale at an appealing price of £175 million (around $241 million), with the seller offering payment options in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
One Hyde Park Penthouse is situated in the esteemed Knightsbridge area of London. It has a massive 18,000 square feet of living space, comparable to the size of approximately 2З archetypal London houses. It includes five huge bedrooms, a cocktail bar, a secluded spa and gym, a 750-bottle wine room, and a living room of luxurious furnishings.
It also holds four parking spots and two terraces around the building.
One Hyde Park is a vast housing and shopping complex located near the Royal Park of the same name. It is being offered by real estate magnate Nick Candy, via real estate agencies Savills Plc and Knight Frank.
If you want to buy it at the asking price in terms of crypto, you have to pay up a stunning З,875 BTC, or 98,690 ETH. According to the contemporary owner, the penthouse is “a world-class estate in central London that will remain to be a safe investment for years.”
Still, considering that last year the median price of properties in London increased by 5.З%, while the rate of Bitcoin soared by 114.8% in 2021 alone, this appears to not be the most lucrative usage of coins.
If the estate is indeed sold in cryptocurrency, it will turn out to be one of the costliest assets ever procured for cryptocurrency, overshadowing the $69 million given for an NFT painting by artist Beeple.
